Abu Dhabi Opens New City Check-in Centre for Zayed International Airport

Abu Dhabi travellers now have an easier way to check in for their flights with the opening of a new city check-in centre just in time for the busy holiday season. Morafiq Aviation Services, which operates remote check-in facilities for Zayed International Airport, has launched its latest centre inside the Etihad Airways Ticketing Office on Muroor Road, right across from Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre. The new facility is open daily from 10am to 10pm and currently serves passengers flying with Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, IndiGo, Wizz Air and EgyptAir.

With large crowds expected during the UAE National Day long weekend and the upcoming holiday rush, authorities are encouraging travellers to complete check-in before reaching the airport. Through Morafiq’s service, passengers can drop off their luggage between 24 and 4 hours before their flight and receive their boarding passes on the spot. This helps reduce queues at the main terminal and makes the travel process much smoother.

The new location joins four other Morafiq check-in centres in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. These include the 24-hour Mina Cruise Terminal, plus the centres at Mussafah Shabiya-11, Crowne Plaza Yas Island and Al Ain LuLu Hypermarket, which are open from 10am to 10pm.
